In Stone Prophet, I called the falcon with the whistle and the dialog ran normally, but at the end I simply had the heart with no video playing. I am certain there was originally a video showing the falcon retrieving the heart. Does anyone know what happened to it?

Similarly, the videos of Ankhtepot and the Hierophant fighting do not appear. And I only get a black screen when I try to play the final video.

As far as I know there is not much you can do, except going back to version 1.0 of the game. Back in 2017 I also contacted support, but they couldn't help either. Not surprisingly. It's not like they can reprogram the game.

Maybe the guys that made DOSBox could hack the game files. They have been helpful with Hexx - Heresy of the Wizard, a game that always crashed in DOSBox at one point, till they hacked the files.

This is probably a stupid question,but is there a way to go back to the older version using the GOG version? I no longer have my old CD-ROM.

Not, that I'm aware of. I still have my old boxed copy.

I just finished Stone Prophet and had the same issue where the cut scenes from the falcon didn't play.
The cutscenes that didn't play are:
The chain cutscene when opening the royal burial halls.
Falcon getting the heart.
Ankhtepot and Hierophant fighting
Ankhtepot winning
End after using the scroll of recall.

Strangely enough, the cutscene of Ankhtepot waking up does play.

Is it possible it is just an issue with the DOSBox setup?

Not likely, I had those problems with a CD-ROM version of the game in a different DOSBox installation as well.

It would be worth checking out whether the patched version of the game runs fine on original hardware.

Not tested it but the game was updated recently. The changes are a different iso or a dfferently created iso. It claims to fix some vdeo not playing correctly in some instances, so probaby it is the solution and the previous image was broken at some point.

Yeap, it's fixed now. :)
Tne ending video freezing is still an issue, but will hopefully fixed soon.
