Hello. I have played this game down to the caverns where you are looking for the portal with the girl and the fighter that you have to take to get past him.

Now when i found the portal and try to enter the portal the game just exits out of DOSBox.
I have notice that an error msg shows in dosprompt that says: run-time error R6003 - integer divide by 0
This crash seem to be at the exact same place as the cine13.anm place to my understanding.
I have both required characters in my party.
Now i have been looking everywhere for someone with similar issue but not found a single case.
I have tried exactly everything from disabling soundcards, installing old runtimes for windows, but nothing seem to change the outcome.

Im running windows 10. the game is in 1.2a. I dont have much option left to try i think.

Any help is appreciated

/Chief
After the portal a message is supposed to pop up and it looks like that data is missing in your installation. I would try redownloading the game and installing it anew.
I tried that multiple times, but doesnt work.

I wonder if its just my save that is bugged.
I will have to try and replay it all over again and see if that will change anything.

Happening to me too, I'd like to know what's going on.

EDIT: I owned this game a LONG time ago, and I remembered the same thing happened to me.

It usually happened after an enemy was somehow invulnerable, would not die, unless I hit it hard with a fireball. That indicated there was a corruption in the game file/save.

HOWEVER I don't know if it was that or the fact my characters wore too much equipment, OR if my characters actually were in the wrong slots.

So.

This is what I did:

I opened up a previous save file (always keep 4 different save files for this series, they do corrupt easily). I only had to redo about 10 min of fighting.

I put my two main characters in slots 1 and 2.

I put the ninja cleric and knight dude in the slots 3 and 4.

I then stripped them of all their worldly belongings and went into the portal.

ONE of those things undid the bug and it progressed.

IT IS NOT A DIALOGUE MISSING ERROR!

It is some other error that has to do with removing the NPCs from your party.
