I tried downloading the patches available at the Atari site - they won't install.
Anyone know if GoG is planning of releasing a fixed set of patches for the latest version?
I think it's 1.2.1b for the US version...

Al the games GOG sells are already updated to the latest available patch, assuming there hasn't been a new patch released very recently. In the event that a new patch is released, GOG will release a whole new installation package with the patched data included.

EDIT - In fact, if you check the properties on the Dragonshard executable, you will find that it is definitely version 1.2.1 already.

So... Anyone could tell me what is the basic version (GOG version) of Dragonshard? I tried patch nonGOG and I have failed. Atari does not support this game - and that's shame! :/

As I said, the GOG version is already patched to the latest available version, 1.2.1. You can check the file properties and see for yourself (if you have the GOG version). GOG will not be releasing any additional patches for the game, only the original dev or publisher can decide to do that. If they were to decide that (exceedingly unlikely), then GOG will release a whole installation package with the patch included already.
