Do dual classed humans have the same equipment benefit/lack of restriction as multi-classed characters?

More specifically, if I create a human fighter and immediately dual class to preserver, will it be able to wear armor after reaching level 3/4 as a multi-classed fighter/preserver can?

Yes, once the new level surpasses the old.

Do, however, note that a character who dual classes into preserver or psionicist won't know as many spells or powers at first; see my topic on character creation for details.
