i felt the urge to play again after several months. when i tried to play the game, i got a green screen. when i moved the mouse i could see that it affected the screen, so im guessing it is a frame rate/ resolution problem. the game doesnt seem damaged. i tried to use the DOSbox options to edit the settings and when i tried to save my preferences, my computer told me that it wasnt installed. i am at a loss right now.

Have you tried just uninstalling and reinstalling? I'm always amazed how often that works.
