I cant get to the reveal map special because there are illegally placed poison traps preventing you from building bridges to it....even if i posses a creature and manually break down the doors (which takes forever) the imps wont claim it because its on an enemy tile and you cant claim it without a bridge connection.

The enemy keeper seems to have gotten tons of vampires somehow which prevents me from using vampires....i tried dropping 5 level 10 vampires into the scanveger room and they were STILL getting scanvenged....he wont attack me either so i cant bait him into traps and an open confrontation in the water is sucidal since he has much better troops (consisting of all those vampires).

Im now stuck in a situation where the AI has tons of bile demons, mistresses, vampires and dragons while im stuck with skeletons and weak converted heroes like fairies (with a handful of knights, archers and wizards)....it just doesnt seem fair at all.

And it doesnt help that he can get more creatures than i do....

And he just keeps getting more and more vampires because his imps keep suciding into my traps near the water gems....
What happens when the poison trap gets depleted?

Having creatures in your Scavenging room doesn't prevent them from being Scavenged, that's what the Temple does.

If you aren't fast enough to out-scavenge him (waiting until you have 5 lvl10 vampires to start scavenging is certainly taking things too slow), then don't use creatures that can he can scavenge, and of course don't give him free vampires...
When the poison traps get depleted, you still cant build bridges over them nor can you do anything to remove them.

The AI in this level seems able to quickly get far more vampires to out-scanvenge me. I dont know how? Does he start with lots of weak heroes on his side of the map?

At this point its impossible to win sice he has the strongest creatures like bile demons and vampires while i have 15 skeletons and weak heroes. I cant get any bile demons, etc because they will just get instant scanveged, or stuck in the temple at level 1 unable to train...

And my imps keep suciding into the enemy dungeon....the AI is an AI so he can just spam create imp without getting tired but its getting tiring for me.

Is there a level editor where you can edit this map and remove the illegal poison traps?

Deeper dungeons is very difficult, and a lot worse is set to come for you. The enemy keeper in this level is very aggressive, and he will attach the hero dungeon no problem, I suspect this is how he is getting vampires. You will also find lots of illegal traps on some of the levels which can be a huge pain.

Are you making skeletons out of the strong heroes like samurai? I hope not :P

If your creatures are being scavenged, just quickly drop them in the temple and then take them out again.

Try and get the horned reaper and the torture chamber pretty quickly, as you will want to get as many dark mistresses as you can before the enemy keeper gets all of them.
I was under the assumption the temple protection lasts only a short while? And vampires cant be dropped in the temple anyway....

Which hero dungeon are you referring to? The one across the water? I can get to the one with the fairies/barbarians and the illegal poison traps with no problem. Actually come to mention it, the level .txt has vampires in the pool, does that allow him to attract vampires through a portal?

I managed to convert most of the samurais i came across but i lost most of them because they would keep charging out of my dungeon randomly solo and the AI would instantly dogpile them with all 40+ of his creatures before i could remove them. I couldnt block them off because the imps need a open door to get to the gems. Later on i figured out that dropping them into the temple works.

Otherwise the skeletons are mostly from my old warlocks that i was trying to convert to vampires (i edited the game to have a 3x skeleton = 1 vampire temple recipie).

Edit : Oh looks like the AI starts with 4 level 4 warlocks. Yea that makes it impossible to outresearch him....

There is a cave to the Northwest which contains 6 Samurai in it, I hope you are capturing and converting them, and behind them are level 7 warlocks. I hope you are not letting the enemy keeper reach these guys first, as you want them all.

Just get them to level 10. If you have trouble with creatures like Samurai randomly running out, just build some guard posts and stick them on it, this way they won't run out. This is especially handy when you get levels with no scavenger room but can attract vampires, it keeps the vampire from dashing into the temple and being angry.

This is one of the few levels where I would recommend keeping the warlocks, because they are already trained up a bit and they are pretty tough. You can also attract vampires yourself through the pool with a 30 tile graveyard.

Also, I assume you are turning your thieves into level 10 knights as well? You should have a few of these and they are very good for tanking. Also, once a thief goes past level 10 and becomes a knight, you can use the resurrect creature special to revive him at level 10 again and make another knight that way.
One creature in the temple protects itself from scavenging, as well as another creature of the same type. There are ways to protect vampires using the temple too...

Im not sure how mayn heroes are on the AI's side at the start of the map but it seems like he can easily build up an army of vampires. I tried making a 30 tile graveyard but it didnt attract a single vampire....

In my secondplaythrough i disabled the scanveger room and managed to cross the water in time to establish a foothold, and then blocekd the area off with tons of traps.

It was rather risky at some times because he had a massive army of 40+ creatures but i managed to slowly whittle them down with boulder traps (since the AI wont attack you all the way to your dungeon heart). When i got a numbers advantage, i managed to win a final battle and push to his heart.

How do you protect vampires with the temple if they run out of it immediately?
What spell, aside from speeding up creatures and fixing their morale, forces them to do jobs?
Can must obey force creatures to do jobs they do not want to do? Not sure on that. And i dont think you get must obey on morkador anyway.

It's possible to capture the fortress past the water before the AI, if you research bridge quickly and rush there with imps. Break all doors except the room with human heroes (on the right), and fortify the walls. This way, AI won't have access to the lake at all.
