I tried playing this game on my laptop but the screen is constantly and randomly flicking black and it's getting quite annoying. The flickering is worse on the main menu screen. Anyone got any idea what could be causing this?

The laptop is running 64-bit Vista SP3 and has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570.

Edit: Just tried this on my PC as well and I'm getting the same issue, the screen flickers black. The PC is running 64-bit XP SP2 and has an NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX.

GOG released this without any kind of testing, it's painfully obvious as I'm having lots of problems and so are many other people. So disappointed in them right now.

I've had that, do you by any chance have something else open? I ask because before I had Firefox running in the background I wasn't having any issues with that.

Otherwise, I'd recommend making sure that your video drivers are to date.

So I was playing about with this on my PC and set the game to load in Win95 compatibility, to run in 256 colors, to run in 640x480 and to disable visual themes, and also set it to only use 1 CPU, and the flickering seems to have stopped.

I tried the same on my laptop, but was unable to change the game to use just 1 CPU (getting some sort of denied access, which is odd since I'm the administrator) and I'm still getting the flickering, I managed to change everything else mentioned.

Again, I'd appreciate any input so I can get it running on the laptop and get the GF off my PC so I can do stuff on it :)

Tried both of those on the laptop, no luck, still flickering like mad.

Yeah, my DK2 is still flickering like mad. Dang near unplayable.
