Update : I have located the file dosboxDK and opened with notepad but cannot find anything relating to music volume or mixer cd audio files to change! I really need to lower the music, it's driving me a bit nuts and I can't play until I figure this out. Please help!!!

The slider is not working and I am unable to understand how and what to do in the DosBox?! I have opened the folders in Win 7 explorer but am scared to mess things up. Any help would be sincerely appreciated!
