I have Windows 7 and cannot save. When I try to save I get the information window with an “Unknown Error”. The game also does not save any of my progress level wise after the second level. Everything else is running fine but I would like to be able to save my game.


I am wondering if this is a pathing issue as all my gog games are on my D drive rather than my C drive. I cannot find any obvious issues with this but I also cannot find where the game is trying to save if it even gets that far.

EDIT: Solution found on other gog game forums.

I had to set the game to run as admin and put a copy of the save file in my D:\Users\<your user profile name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\GOG.com\Dungeon Keeper\save file


I had to make the dungeon keeper folder as it was not in the app data gog.com folder.
