Has anyone been able to record gameplay of Duke Nukem 3D while using EDuke32?
I discovered I could record in-game demos through EDuke by selecting it in the 'Game Setup' menu. However, it seems as though demos will not save unless you finish the level, and even then mine appeared buggy. The game kept telling me out of sync, and ending the demo playback. It is honestly a bit confusing.
I tried some more traditional methods, using both XFire and WeGame. Both technically work, but each one also disables any keyboard input. The game records fine, but I cannot move around at all. Fraps is the only thing I have not tried, but primarily due to not owning the software (nor wanting to spend $37 on it). There is the demo of course, but the 30 second limit and watermarks are less than ideal.
Looking for any suggestions that might be out there to make this work. I would love to record some gameplay and post it on my blog, as I am having a blast playing this.
