To all of you who didn't think it was going to happen, as Duke would put it, "Blow it out your ass!"

Well... Let's just hope nothing screws it up between now and it's release date...
Please note that 3DREALMS is not involved in any way with this. WHich is a good thing, Since I am convinced that as long as Broussard was involved it would never see the light of day.
Broussaard might be a brilliant game designer, but as a company head and a program manager the guy was a epic failure.
If anybody can salvage anything from the fiasco, it's Gearbox.
Back in January i TOLD you all about the direct confirmation from John St. John and you all called me a damn lier
From day 1 I can honestly say I've "Always Bet on DUKE"
On the plus side its gearbox... sweet godly gearbox.... unfortunately that means some jacked up zero day DRM (see boarderlands)... but I can live with that, im buying 3 copies (standard, collectors, ps3)

Now we all have to lower 12(or however long its been) years of expectations and remember its only a computer game.
would you call Jesus just a man... Edison a mere mortal? would you challenge Hercules to an arm wrestling match?
No my friend this is the glorious finality of fate and faith, the culmination of joy and love...

Pretty high with gearbox churning it out, we may even have it sooner.

Where could I track the development of DNF, and any estimate about the "sooner" part?

Well the gearbox press statement claims a 2011 release.

Thanks for those 2 websites, they were exactly what I was looking for and I'm really impatient for 2011.

Not true. After 3D Realms laid the DNF team off the core members kept developing in their garages. At the beginning of the year Gearbox got the continued development rights and that same core team became a part of Gearbox, but it's still 3D Realms that made the game.
They're dead and rightfully so. EPIC FAIL of a team. I hope Gearbox gets bought out and dnf becomes a Take 2 owned game.

I think you are a little confused and meant 3DRealms instead of Gearbox.
Take 2 won the rights as payment for the loan they made to 3DRealms, and then made a deal with Gearbox to have Gearbox do DNF. Take 2, I think, is going to release it.
