I just bought this from GOG and the sound is horrible. I am using a HP notebook with IDT High Def audio card. The music doesn't play AT ALL, and I made sure it wasn't set to "off". The sound effects play, but they are choppy and repeat over themselves several times. This is really crappy because I love this game, I'm getting old, and I'll be damned if I can figure out what is wrong. The setup, of course, only offers choices between old sound cards, and it seems no matter what I pick the sound sucks and the music is nil.. PLEASE HELP!

For starters if your running vista make sure you run the setup.exe program with admin permission otherwise it won't save properly. Could you find your config file and post it on here so I can take a look at your sound settings?

You can get the new version of the music eduke32_mus.zip and put it on the autoload folder. It should work.
