Hello I bought the Duke Nukem 3D version. I Installed it right away, but it doesn´t start.
The little dos window poped open, but then it goes back to my windows, what is the problem, why can´t I start the game??
Run the game as admin or change the graphics settings with Graphics Mode Setup.

Thanks yes with the admin function it works, now I havew the problem, that I can´t change the controlls on my keyboard.
I have to use the 4 arrows, and I´mk not able to look down. In the option section, there is noh controll setup!!
Any advice for me:-)?!
In the start menu, go to the setup program. It will let you customize your controls. You could also use eDuke, which you could make look as classic or modern as you want, and have a control menu in the options section.

Look in the folder where you installed the game. The setup program is in there.

I second the idea of using eDuke, it's easy to setup and can make the game a bit easier on the eyes if you have a larger monitor.

I looked into the folder and I got the file, but I can´t open it. Not even with the admin function.
1) Use the link to the setup program that the GOG installer provides you with.

2) Make sure you run it as administrator. This is more really for if you've installed into the default Program Files folder on Vista or above, as that is a protected folder. I recommend installing to your own games folder instead.

3) If you can't get the above to work, get eDuke32 instead, it is a very good engine port and you can still play the game as it originally looked and felt should you not wish to make use of a better control scheme and nicer graphics.

Thx for the tips, but the game is running!!
I only would like to know how can I change the control settings from my keyboard??!
In the game you can´t do that in the options!!
The file you want to run is called BSETUP.EXE but you need to run it in DosBox as it won't run in Windows.

The better option is to use Eduke http://eduke32.com/

From the Website:

Much like the Duke himself, our inflated egos say we're the best, period. Here's why:

EDuke32 runs natively without relying on emulation of any kind
EDuke32 runs at crazy resolutions like 3072x2304.
EDuke32 allows you to choose between two different hardware accelerated OpenGL renderers, or the classic, warped software mode you grew up with
EDuke32 fixes an insane amount of programming errors which were harmless in the days of DOS but are fatal with modern protected memory models; translation: EDuke32 crashes less
EDuke32 has been the only actively developed and maintained Duke3D port for years
EDuke32 features Plagman's incredible "Polymer" renderer as a replacement for Ken Silverman's "Polymost" renderer
EDuke32 has a huge number of new extensions to the game's scripting system, allowing gameplay mods that rival even modern games.
EDuke32 runs the HRP with support for all features, most of which require EDuke32; no other port can run the HRP with all features enabled
EDuke32 adds a full-featured console, including Quake-style key bindings, command aliases, advanced tab completion, comprehensive command history, colored text and more
EDuke32 has hundreds of code rewrites, optimizations and fixes for rare or annoying bugs in the original code
EDuke32 adds tons of optional new features that make the player's life easier including modern status display/HUD, support for loading mods from the startup window, and modern, WSAD-based controls with thoroughly reworked mouse aiming
EDuke32 supports Ogg Vorbis sound and music
EDuke32 is developed by people who have been in the Duke3D scene since the beginning
EDuke32 lets you play that game called 'NAM' you saw at the dollar store 10 years ago
EDuke32 makes sandwiches!

I Download it eduke32 and it doesn´t work like I want to.
ThE game is running Fine even without Eduke, but I can´t Change the controll Settings on my keyboard!!!
ANd if I try to run the eduke it say´s there are no duke 3d version on the computer even though I download it from gog and installed , so what is the problem!?
ANd please somebody tell me how to change the keyboard controll settings that is my main problem!!!!!
Did you put the EDuke files in the Duke Nukem 3D folder? You need to run it from the same place the Duke3D executable is. Once you get EDuke running it adds the settings to the ingame options menu to let you remap the keyboard controls. Otherwise your only option is to run DosBox by itself, navigate to the Duke Nukem 3D folder and run the setup command from there. If you already have EDuke then make sure you get it installed correctly because it is much easier that way.

If you were running the game then you were not following step 1. You need to run the setup link not the game link.

But at least you got it working with eDuke32 anyway.
