I'd really love to buy this game, but not if it's a "checkpoint save" game. I usually dont have mroe than a half hour at a time to play PC games these days; thus I like to "save at will."
Can someone who's played this on the PC please answer the question for me? THanks!

normally i absolutely agree with you, i don't like checkpoint saves too cause i have to do the same things again and again. in this case it don't bugs me cause its not a riddle- or fight-game and it don't needs much time to reach your last position. so i think its still playable with 30 min/day.

Thank you for the response. I did buy the game (from another online gaming service), and refunded it after an hour.
After playing for half an hour, although the grfx were nice (not as great as I thought or as advertised, but detailed enough for me to enjoy them), and the story somewhat intriguing, I realized the panning (to select topics or question trees, for example) was making me slightly ill. Additionally, the female character's voice I found terribly annoying. Also, the optimazation was certainly less than..optimal :-) Not an enjoyable experience for me.
ONly the 2nd or third adventure game I've ever requested a refund for in several years of ordering games online.
