bricbrac: Since the server/ service issue seems to have been fixed or "worked it's self out" (who knows), I'm curious if the pawn issue has been fixed as well. Could someone rent my pawn and rate him. I'm just curious.
Pawn info:
He-Ra (he's a He-man clone)
LvL. 146 Ranger
Aneled Bardiches and Rusted Bow
edit to add: If someone is lower lvl than 146 and wants to try this for me I'll gladly add you so that the rental doesn't cost you anything.
Zerkstorm: Hey, it's working but it doesn't work correctly/fully. I played the original ps3 version quite a bit, so I know how it's supposed to function. The GOG version does not function correctly. Your pawn is hireable and you will get items. The items will mysteriously be in your storage. What doesn't work is when you rest you will not get the pop up that says your pawn has returned, what rating it recieved, and so on. Also I can't tell but seems like you don't recieve RC either.
I searched the rift for your pawn, repeatedly, his name never came up. And for me in the section where it's supposed to say the creators name, it is blank on some tries, populated on others. For me there seemed to be grand total 7-15 out of 100 pawns available, I refreshed it many times.
Thanks for having a look. One problem could be that my pawn's level has changed since I posted this. He's now lvl. 148. Another thing, I suppose is that his name could be coming up as "Abel" which was the moniker I chose for him. (Though I can't imagine the name "He-Ra" getting flagged but who knows)
Thanks for the info on how the system is meant to function. I knew the gog version wasn't working as intended in this regard and was curious if anything had changed on that end since the pawn update had been seemingly fixed.
When you say the creator name is blank on some tries and not on others do you mean on the same pawn after a refresh? For me the only ones I've seen blank (I think) were game generated rather than user-owned. And at these levels I only ever see one or two user-owned pawns. Which is a shame, as I'd much rather use another player's pawn than a generic one. (assuming they're close to what I'm looking for, of course.)
