Since the server/ service issue seems to have been fixed or "worked it's self out" (who knows), I'm curious if the pawn issue has been fixed as well. Could someone rent my pawn and rate him. I'm just curious.

Pawn info:
He-Ra (he's a He-man clone)
LvL. 148 Ranger
Aneled Bardiches and Rusted Bow

edit to add: If someone is lower lvl than 146 and wants to try this for me I'll gladly add you so that the rental doesn't cost you anything.

edit to update pawn lvl.

Hey, it's working but it doesn't work correctly/fully. I played the original ps3 version quite a bit, so I know how it's supposed to function. The GOG version does not function correctly. Your pawn is hireable and you will get items. The items will mysteriously be in your storage. What doesn't work is when you rest you will not get the pop up that says your pawn has returned, what rating it recieved, and so on. Also I can't tell but seems like you don't recieve RC either.

I searched the rift for your pawn, repeatedly, his name never came up. And for me in the section where it's supposed to say the creators name, it is blank on some tries, populated on others. For me there seemed to be grand total 7-15 out of 100 pawns available, I refreshed it many times.

Thanks for having a look. One problem could be that my pawn's level has changed since I posted this. He's now lvl. 148. Another thing, I suppose is that his name could be coming up as "Abel" which was the moniker I chose for him. (Though I can't imagine the name "He-Ra" getting flagged but who knows)

Thanks for the info on how the system is meant to function. I knew the gog version wasn't working as intended in this regard and was curious if anything had changed on that end since the pawn update had been seemingly fixed.

When you say the creator name is blank on some tries and not on others do you mean on the same pawn after a refresh? For me the only ones I've seen blank (I think) were game generated rather than user-owned. And at these levels I only ever see one or two user-owned pawns. Which is a shame, as I'd much rather use another player's pawn than a generic one. (assuming they're close to what I'm looking for, of course.)

Yes blank as in might or might not be shown, even though it's the same pawn. Yeah I accounted for the idea that your pawns level might've changed, I checked various levels past the one stated. But no matter what I did the list of user made pawns was always super small. Well anyway this game is too broken in all the wrong ways for my tastes, so I took GOG's offer to refund. I still have the ps3 version which there's no arguing isn't as "nice" looking nor smooth running, but the pawn system functions correctly, so I'll just keep playing that one. Maybe IF one day Capcom decides to treat GOG users equally to steam users and fix this game I might rebuy it. Good luck.

Thanks for checking for me. Happy trails.

The problem is the GOG version of hiring pawns and the related functions is just broken. My pawn is level 75 and I have hired many, many other pawns, yet when I search for pawns that my pawn knows the system say it cannot retrieve such information. I searched for your pawn and at level 140-150 it shows absolutely no online pawns, only offline pawns.

Broken.
The only somewhat reliable search function are search by level with applying filters and of course GoG friends / favorites. I assume the known and related search functions rely on working pawn return which as we know does not work well.

Btw. a buddy of mine got a working pawn return from me yesterday YAY! :D

Your pawn was rented for a stint with 1 cursed dragon. A BBI Armor lvl 3 was sent as a gift. Let me know if the gifting works. Rated 5 stars :)

One oddity when summoning was that he appeared as lvl 148 in the rift but upon exiting, immediately leveled up to 152. Timing lag?

When gifts go through do they show up the inventory or the bank? If they show up in the bank then no, I've not received it yet. If they show up in inventory then I'm not sure. I have a few bbi's that I hadn't purified when I last logged out. One of them is a lvl. 3 armor but I can't remember if I already had that one or not.

Interesting that he went up in level. It wasn't timing lag, though. One of the mods I use raises the xp requirements to lvl up so that I level up more slowly. When He-ra showed up in your world he clearly brought that xp with him. (If your wondering why I would do this-- (tldr: for balance) I use a mod that makes monsters a bit smarter and quite a bit heartier. Since creatures are tougher they also give more xp. I changed the level-up reqs. to try and keep from out leveling the monsters.)

edit to add: Thank you for renting him. I forgot to actually say that. =) much appreciated.

It should be in the bank after resting at the inn. I had rehired and returned your pawn again with a lv.3 gear as a second test
