I was messing with the DAOriginsLauncher.xml file to get Developer's Console to open. However now i cant get the game to launch. I put the backup DAOriginsLauncher.xmli made and I ran A Verify/Repair but neither fixed the issue. How do i restore the file?

The only thing that I can thing of to do is what i refer to as an "Instilation Purge". It goes like this: uninstall the game, manually remove all remaining files from the install directories, then reinstall the game. Yes directories, plural. Some games install the save game/profile sepcific stuff to the my documents folder.

I devloped this techunique for when Skyrim was causing me problems.
