Yes, official DAUpdater does not find the registry directory, the Updater log says:
" Engine.Utilities.DAGameInfo, Error - Couldn't find Dragon Age registry key: SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\BioWare\Dragon Age
Engine.Utilities.DAGameInfo, Error - Couldn't find Dragon Age executable to check version because Install Path is invalid: "
There is no such Wow6432Node\BioWare registry, the Galaxy registry for DA is here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\GOG.com\Games\1949616134
and all seems good in this Galaxy registry.
DAUpdater tells the mod is installed, but when we quit it it says GOG version is too old,
but if we launch the game and see in Downloaded Content, in Installed Content the mod is told well installed.
I've found an answer of Quinn for his mod:
" If the mod is showing up in your Downloadable Content list in the game, you should be fine. If you want to test that it's working in game, a good way is to start the Dwarf Noble origin and see if Gorim's sword can be unequipped and reequipped... if it can't be re-equipped because of the strength requirement, then something is wrong and my Fixpack is not installed. If you can reequip it, everything is fine. "
And, YES, the companion CAN do it! so, all is good! :)
