Hi guys,
purchased Doom 3 BFG over BFCM weekend and thought I'd have some fun with it tonight... Well no

When launching the game I will get a black window then a black window with a white rectangle and then a full white window. As running on VM only way is to quit the virtual machine and then to restart it.

With all of this hearing full sound so the game seems to launch.

What I have tried so far
- changing resolution
- compatibility mode
- adding +set r_fullscreen 3 in command line

All of this did not resolve the problem.

SYSTEM
- Windows 10 on Virtual Machine
- MacBook Pro early 2015
- 8 GB of RAM
- Quadcore processor
- Mac OSX Catalina as the root system
- Intel onboard graphics card with 4 GB GRAM

Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried contacting GOG support?

Also try creating a new VM with Win7 instead and not 10. Win10 sucks when it comes to running old games. See if that helps.

I'm not sure if this would help, but maybe try using the RBDoom-3-BFG port within your virtual machine.
