What we wait from RPG game? leveling? skills? creatures? yes, maybe, but probably we wait for "fantasy", "freedom", places and adventures that we will not participate ever in real life!
And Divine Divinity give it to you! Of course, you kill monsters, level up, but you get freedom and adventures here, surrounded by WONDERFUL graphical art and music with sound work. Listen to monsters, look at cute or scary world, decide need you this fight or not... maybe you just want to say this quest "kiss my ass" and go in other place? DO It! You are free adventurer of free beautiful world!
BTW, i played this game for many years from time to time, but i still didn't finish this game and not bored to play, why? because it is not force you!
