from reading/searching different forums and posts it appears this game supports custom resolutions and widescreen. i'm trying to get it setup on a laptop with a 1280x800 native resolution. i have used the config tool and even edited the config file manually and still the game is not taking up my entire screen. i'm using Win 7 and have UAC turned off. i also can't get the in game video settings to save (3d shadows and fog). each time i restart the game they are turned off.

after actually playing for a couple of minutes the game is full screen....
