for once I was notified of an update for this, but then there's no information about the update in the changelog

how do you publish the script that makes the update notification happen without logging what the update is? oh, gog incompetence, of course!

how do you know that gog isnt as much in the dark about what is in updates as we are they can only give info that the games devs/publishers give them

When did this happen? Two days ago I started having trouble with the transfer between Ego Draconis and Flames of Vengeance and have suspected a GOG update as the culprit because it started opening differently and there was a little window on the lower left saying Director's Cut of Divinity II was running that was never there prior.

GOG is known to receive updates and then put them through QA before publishing them

how do they QA test an update if they don't know what they're looking for? yesterday when I posted (and I check daily for "updates" so it was definitely published yesterday)

I don't think I've ever received an update notification for D:OS before

From what I see, D:OS' update is a Czech language fix. I did download a patch for DOS 2 ... and it told me it wasn't for my version of the game and I needed to download a new installer?????
