The tips that appear while the game is loading or closing are very useful. In fact, it ticks me off that this material isn't in the game manual. Has anyone compiled a directory of these tips?

Thank you. The link you provided appears to be from the game Arcanum, not Divine Divinity. I guess the principle is the same, it's buried in there.

Arcanum is installed in a directory above Divine Divinity, if you will notice the path leads upward to the DD directory which is below my install of Arcanum. The Arcanum directory is just not expanded to show it's contents.
If you check your DD install you will find the hints.txt file located as shown.
