Hello

I bought and played Divine Divinity for last 2 weeks and it was running smoothly. But today I updated my MacOS to High on Sierra and the game won't even start. Is there anything I can do?

Hi miloszewski,

Please restrain yourself from posting duplicate threads about the same issue. I removed all your other posts and kept this one.

Coming back to your question - there is a known issue with running Mac games using Wineskin, such as Divine Divinity on macOS 10.13 High Sierra. We are actively working on updating them, but there is no ETA I can provide.

For now, you can try using the workaround described here: http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com/tiki-view_blog_post.php?postId=87

Hi, different person, same issue. DD is still not working on my Macs...Any ETA yet? Also, the workaround says to uncheck the Auto Detect GPU for Direct 3D in the Wineskin.app, but I can't find Wineskin.app anywhere on the machine on which I used to run the game.

Well, updating the wrapper and changing the engine helped me. Though the game is a bit stuttery, but I'll try some NOFlicker engines later

It is hidden inside the game app. Press alt when starting the game to bring it up. Or if you need to access it directly then go to the game in Finder, right click, show package contents. With gog games there is often a second application with the games name in the resources folder somewhere, same procedure with the package content and you should see the Wineskin app (a self made wrapper would have it at the first level of the package contents)
