I tried the duplication trick with the potions. It worked, giving me 255 Minor Restoration potions, but...it cut out the sound, replacing it with a low hum. When I quit the game (saving before I did so), Windows was extremely slow and the humming sound continued.

I rebooted the computer, and it was fine, but my question is, if I now load that save game, will the sound problem return or will it be a "normal" game again?
