I got this error when launching the game. (screenshot below)
the install went just fine.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

EDIT: I am the administrator and I have more than enough space for the game.

I Got the same message. I went to the install directory and opened the properties of the file div.exe, selected compatibility and ticked the box "run as administrator"

It's a hassle to have to do this manually, but do it once and you are settled. At least it fixed it for me...

Thanks, fixed it for me as well. I think this might be a well read post with this being one of the free choices that comes free with The WItcher Two pre-order.

I have a similar problem. But ther is nothing happening. Where is the install directory?

The games tried to load as I turned off the computer. Today it works again... Just a homegrown prob. Thanks

Edit: BTW, You don't need to go to the install directory, right-click the game shortcut, click Properties on the resulting dialog, click the Compatibility tab and check "Run this program as an administrator". This is only necessary for Vista / Win 7, ignore this suggestion if you are running XP . . . =)

The default install directory is C:\Program Files\GOG.com\Divine Divinity . . . depending on your OS.

Look here for general install tips . . . =)
