Patch issue.
I fire up my O:sin and the new auto-patch says hay we have something new for... I download the 300mb and then get this error and can't play my game any more.

any one figured out how to fix it yet or do I need to re-install/ start a new game?

What is the file name of the patch? The 1.0.130 to 1.0.169 patch was updated, the original (300MB) having the patch number 2.10.0.19, and the update (300.9MB) 2.10.0.20.

What version of the game do you have currently installed? Can you start it directly, even if the launcher doesn't want to?

I need to have a good look at my backups.

That is the updated version of the patch.
I guess a re-install it is. That shouldn't effect your current saves, though you would need to start a new game to have the new companions available.

Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames' folder.

Yes I was annoyed that the auto-patcher killed my game but it is still new and we have to expect some bugs… I'm going to delete this game and play bg2ee for now.

Thanks any way.
