Hi,
I do have 16 inert Starstones, still apparently did not activate all Bloodstones. In Homestead still two Portals are not activated and the 'magic' door is not opening.
I followed numerous of the uncountable walktroughs explaining where to find the stones.
I feel I went everywhere not once but twice, but nothing.

Is there any cheat that allows me to continue?
Eitther revealing the locatons of the two remaining bloody bloodstones, or
magically activate all portals and thus let me open the door, or
just opens the door.

I really don't need another one of the lists with the locations of the bloodstones.
The assumption I have is, that at the beginnig of the game I wasn't aware of the importance of the stones and maybe gave them away and I can't remember to whom.

Ruh-roh. Are these the cure-all bloodstones? If so, I may have screwed myself early on, by healing Alfie with one.

No you haven't. You only need the inert stones. Tip: once you have your personal room at homestead, and you have used a Bloodstone, right click on the inert stone and 'send to Homestead'.

It is ok to activate them. As I learned, the activation itself is important not the starstone itself.
Every bloodstone that is activated, e.g. for healing Alfie, opens one of the star-portals in homestead. Once all star portals are open, the door in the temple of source opens.
I really must have dropped or given away a bloodstone before activating it. Or I am completely struck blind when revisiting all the locations :-).

(It is such a shame, I love this game. It is really worthy to be compared with Baldur's Gate)
The last portal in the Homestead never opens. Idk why, maybe it's an easter egg, since party animals go in and out that portal all the time :P
After you open the portal to the "Chapel", you can continue to the Source Temple.

I don't think selling a bloodstone would be a problem. I'm pretty sure I had non-activated bloodstones in my inventory when I entered the Temple O.o

No, this is not quite true. My experience was that only certain blood stones activate the portals. For example, I had far more inert stones than necessary, yet the homestead would not upgrade and the temple would still not open. What I had not done, because I could not interact with it to activate it (I had forgotten about the ALT key), was left the stone in the Knight's Tomb. When I was reminded about the ALT key, I went back and as soon as I activated the stone in the Knight's Tomb the homestead was updated and the temple access was granted. There are far more blood stones in the game than you actually need, and the fact that this one stone was my 'unlock stone' is what I base this on.

Somebody in another forum wrote, he needed to destroy the coffin in the Knight's Tomb. When I use the ALT-key the coffin is not selectable. The coffin itself is open and I remember ransacking it.
Did you destroy the coffin, e.g, like a chest is destroyed, or is it just opened? There's still a glimmer inside the coffin but I can't tell if it means anything or if it is just a graphic effect.

I did not destroy the coffin. As far as I know, it is not destroyable. The inactive star stone is inside the coffin, that is the glimmer. I used the ALT key to highlight the stone, and then activated it (the name text) to pick it up. Without the ALT key there was no way to do so.

I just checked. The glimmer is there, I press 'ALT' and no change, no indication that a starstone is still hidden.
I can only assume I took the starstone already (usually I keep the ALT-key pressed after a battle to plunder) and the glimmer is just a a grafic effect.
Thank you so much, Hickory, for trying to help, but I fear the solution lies elsewhere. :-(

I start to think it is possibly not that hard to restart ... I mean I enjoyed the game ... I played Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale and Planescape several times ... I think I will take a brake and the restart with different characters.
This time knowing from the beginning about the importance of the bloddstones.

Thanks, again,
Lutz
