I have D:OS on GoG and Steam. Steam server works fine for multiplayer, but GoG version says not connected to community server, so my connection settings in-game are greyed out.

Until the Galaxy beta launched, GOG had no online infrastructure or matchmaking capabilities.As stated on the store page, multiplayer is LAN or Direct Connection.
D:OS would need an update in order to support Galaxy, which isn't going to happen (updates in general, not having to do with Galaxy specifically). AFAIK the Enhanced Edition will probably support Galaxy, though (hasn't been announced/confirmed).

Right, I just assumed there were dedicated servers on Larians side that D:OS should connect to.
