I played through the game with Jahan and Madora, and they complimented my party well due to me knowing what class they were even before recruiting them. I am currently planning my second playthrough, but I'd like to know a couple of things before I create my new set of characters.

I've heard that there are two new companions coming out in August, and I'd love to learn some info about them. Most importantly what class they are so I can create my characters accordingly (I kept that in mind during the first playthrough as well). Also, it would be cool to learn if we'll be able to recruit them in the starting town just like Jahan and Madora. I was thinking of tweeting Larian to ask, but their twitter really doesn't seem active/interactive. Anybody know any info?

Edit: I'm not talking about the henchmen.

I'm surprised there isn't more than those two in the "real world" that you can recruit.

You do know about the Hall of Heroes though right? In the Homestead? You can hire any recruit you want there.

Yeah, I know about the henchmen. I was talking about companions like Jahan and Madora, you know, with personalities and such. The henchmen are just there to help you with combat.

I-It's not true! You take that back! My Erin (Erinaja Sanguinar) the Ranger has lots of personality! She's cool and collected, and her aim is true!

But yeah, I agree. There should be more real world companions.

Hahah, I'm sure she is. But yeah, the henchmen just don't appeal to me. I'd rather have my characters go 'solo' than have faceless characters along that are there just for combat. That's why I wanted to learn more about the upcoming companions. They are supposed to be even better than Jahan and Madora from what I've read.
