Divine Divinity is for sure my top favorite roll playing game of all times ! I play it since 2005 and can't stop replay this game!
The humor and music is also amazing!! My favorite song is that from the Wastelands! Great song Kirill makes!
Someone ever tried to play DD without any reloads for better gear? And if you die, play again from the beginning? (very hard-core rule!)
I try it and playing now my third hardcore hero. Difficult to survive, especially if I'm unpatient for doing all movements careful enough and thinking beforehand like an old wise wizard hahaha .... But, playing on this way makes this game even more great !!!
I agree that DD is a great game. Music is terrific and love the story and interesting quests. Just finished the game for the first time. I'm the type of player who loves the story and exploring in rpgs. Knowing the story kills any replay for me, but it is great that you can get so much fun replaying DD.

I'm still in the "early middle" of the game and it's damn hard.
There is no way you can pass your second quest (the dungeon) before level 5-6, and even then it's hard.
So I can only wonder the world aimlessly doing some minor quests and killing some monsters without taking on the main quest and progressing the game.

The quests are sometimes hard and you might not know what to do next.
There is also "must skills" which makes the game much easier (poison weapon, freeze and deadly gift), but you need some "upkeep" (like poison or traps).

It's a good game overall, but I still have many hours to play.
Gotta agree, DD is the best RPG I ever played. It's what got me hooked on videogames all together back in '05 ... the music is the best I've ever heard in a game (only game I never play with itunes in the background), the characters are all unique & the quests are still interesting even after I've finished it for the millionth time.
I'll never forget the moment when I played through the first 'stage' of it, with the Seven gathered, and thought sadly "Man, now it's over" - and then there was ... a second world with an impressive size ... love this game.
Shit win7 won't run it but right now I'm downloading the GOG-version, wish me luck, heard it gives some people issues.

I agree and think of DD as the RPG that I had the most fun playing, music was awesome, good story, all characters using all weapons magic, etc, etc. A rare game IMHO.

Check out this post for DD install tips. . . =)
