Question posted and solved by Zerael . . . =)
I've been playing Divine Divinity for many days now, and I've spent lots of hours solving sidequests and similiar; but, after completing the primary quest at the Stormsfist Castle (the one that puts you in service of the duke kid, doing stupid errands), the duke counselor's stops me in the field and teleports me to a weeeeird map: almost every graphic its gone and only the floor and two orcs remain. Its like... the walls are missing or something. The fact is that I cant do anything; If I keep waiting a white cat appears and gives me a key... but I cant do anyrhing with it! (since there is no place to use it.
Ive already tried the solutions explained in other topics -reinstalling and put the compatibility mode on, and dont work for me ._.
Im using windows XP SP3 with a dual core amd processor. My graphical card its a HD 3870 ati.

Finally! I managed to get a solution ^^
Ill post it here if anyone comes to this problem with the corruption of savegames:
Since it seemed like the objects of the wolrd were missing, I looked onto the files in the savegames folders; one of them is called world.x0 . I noticed that it's size was 9.770 MB on every folder with the corruption bug; but in one of the oldest saves (one at the game's beggining) was 9.787. By copy pasting this file onto the corrupted folder the map got all the objects again! Yaaaay! ^_^
So, my guess its that you need a non-corrupted copy of this file: world.x0 and pasting it in the savegame folder you wish to continue ^_^
Im not ure if I managed to explain myself, so if anyone with better english than me care to explain this, it would be wonderful ^_^
