And for those who are curious which swords do I use I present my two favourite blades at the same time I have to admitt that the vampire's one is better for me. Nevertheless the chaos blade does around 10-20 damage more(around +/-200) than the claymore of the vampire(around +/-180). The reason for my liking is the fact that the chaos blade damage is mainly physical(apart from very slight spiritual damage of merely 2) while claymore has poison(5), spiritual(4) and not only mana but also life drain(4) It is a super combo inside the fight it heals you gives you mana for extra healing and smacks your enemy with poison(sometimes you dont even have to finish them coz they die from poison anyway). I have also lighting attacks(skill) so the combo goes on hahahah i love that stuff. Onthe other hand chaos blade has its own advantages: its freakin good against spirits and it provides a significant bonus to vitality and stamina. Concluding it is hard to say which one is better, they are just different. Anyway i like more the claymore because of the origins of the weapon( i remember the vampire was my first tough fight ;D) + it has one more slot for charm than chaos blade hahahhah ;P

Well, here's my stats / armor / weapon / traits for my character that has just cleared the upper map of the Wastelands. Guess I should finish this game . . . =)

Edit: This was my second (or third??) game play so I had a much better idea of how to build my character. For instance I used the Singing Blade early in the game saving the Blade of Chaos until I had enough gold charms to fill it. I used intelligence charms to boost my INT rather than putting points into it. I kept the 320 boots as they gave me a higher armor rating than anything else I found, seems like more than the Dragon Armor boots IIRC.

Very nice indeed! I like your character. Strong battle mage, resistance stats and items of greatest quality. I can see that you went more into magic than into a warrior. Maybe it's a good idee... Maybe should do the same. I mean After having sword expert and damage/armour augumentation it more efficient to leave warrior skillsand go magic i guess. I rather prefer supporting spells than offensive but hmmmm maybe I'll change my approach ;PPP
Oh and one thing more how do you bind keys in DD i do everything pausing the game ;PP

I really play the character as a warrior. Even though some stats indicate that the character is weak in some areas, I can't tell the difference between this survivor character and the warrior character I played first. I just wanted to try the survivor but found no particular advantage. I do prefer the warriors special move since you can do damage while invisible (right click only with special move skill active, left clicking makes you visible). The other two classes special move don't really seem to help me as I usually play melee anyway. . . =)

I no longer load up all magic skills with points since I usually use only Lightening for my ranged weapon along with a few other skills for other things. I place my skill points more carefully now whereas my first game I was trying to raise almost all skills . . . resulted in a weaker character build IMHO. Most of the other skills were from found books and rewards from quest completions.

BTW, you may want to hang on to the breastplate that has the strange description. You might find it to be very helpful in creating a special suit of armor . . . =D

I always start with a warrior as well. I enjoyed my second play thru more than my first . . hope the same holds true for you.

I have a Survivor game with nothing left but the final decent / battles. I need to finish that game . . . =)
