Advice for all linux users about "Divinity 2 Director's Cut".
The game works with PlayonLinux, without problems.
Install the game with the regular version of wine in PlayonLinux, choosing game not listed.
Accept to install directXc version coming with the game.
Then, change the wine version to 1.7.4.-Vertex-Blending.
Add this components:
Quartz
Devenum
Ffdshow
Wmpcodecs

Enjoy the game!

A new "Enhanced" edition is planned (free for owners of the non-enhanced edition) with an estimated release date during this year, supported on multiple platforms, including linux. The article is from a week ago. Sounds promising.

RPS: We’ll talk more about this at Gamescom. When is release for the Enhanced Edition?
Vincke: Definitely this year. We have to go through all of the details for the console releases but it shouldn’t be too long.

I have tried the demo of Divinity 2. It works under wine, but it crashes a lot. Does the full version of the game run stable under wine?

Another problem is the mouse sensitivity. Although I already have set it to the lowest value in the game options it's still too high when I control my avatar with the mouse. I can reduce the physical mouse sensitivity, but then the mouse is too slow when I access menus or the inventory. Is that better in the full version?

I've experimented no problem with the mouse.
The game is full playable, on my opinion.
For D:OS EE, the release estimate has been updated to October/November (2015).
