Which means I can no longer play using my GoG version of the game in multiplayer with my friend who uses Steam.

When can we expect this new version here?

Don't expect it before Monday at the earliest. If you have a game going it would be better if they turn off auto-update.

I would if that was an option, but it's not. The option not to update at all must have been switched off on this game. These are the options as listed:

Always keep this game up to date
Only update this game when I launch it
High Priority - always update this game before any others

Sooooooo... I tried. I really tried. But I was foiled.

Steam removed that option from the client a couple updates ago.

You can, however, make a copy of the install folder, and start it directly from that executable when the Steam install updates, or if you catch the update in progress you may be able to leave it paused, and continue playing the previous version until the GOG version updates.

Hello, I just applied the patch for windows but the game still shows 1.0.169 on the main screen. If I launch the patcher again it says "Update already applied"
