Larian reveiled just minutes ago through a video the message: the composer of the series, Krill Prokrovsky, is dead.

He wasn't involved in Original Sin very much with new songs because of his condition. But this now didn't come to a good ending.

Oh man. I only just saw this post. Loved this guys music.

The original Divine Divinity soundtrack sends me to another place. Very sad news :(

He did a lot of composing and he started two heavy metal/hard rock bands in Russia (which are well and alive) and one band in Belgium (this had a different style, more in line with the stuff that you've heard in Divinity series).

The man was a giant: singer, composer, instrumentist, a true artist. He's missed by many, but such is life.

RIP Kiril. A great musician indeed. Many hours of lovely sounds during our playthroughs. Not many make music with so much character in it any more.

While I still have to actually play to Divine Divinity, I’ve already listened to its soundtrack countless times.
It’s a true piece of Art.
