I must have installed hundreds of games on my current desktop system but every single time when I try to install D:OS I get a blue screen. I've installed six other games (gog and non-gog) since then and it was all good. Downloaded a fresh Divinity version...back to blue. I figure this game is just way too epic to be installed normally.

Anyway, point of this thread, just in case anyone else experiences something similar (which I doubt but hey you never know) I ended up installing the game on my portable HD using my laptop. Patched it, connected the HD to my desktop...works like a charme. Now I'm stuck on the character creation screen and can't decide...
If you're getting Blue screens from the game on one hard drive but not another it's probably time to check the integrity of your main drive. You might have corrupted sectors.
I did, not too long ago. And I actually tried to install it on the portable first using my desktop pc, and on the internal second and both attempts ended up with blue screens. But like I said, it works now and quite stable
