Been trying to download some extras for Divinity II Directors' Cut but I keep getting an error message "server problem". Does anyone know the solution?

I've just checked all the extras and they are all downloading fine via my browser so maybe it was just a glitch at your end. Hopefully by now it'll be working for you.
