I am playing Ego Draconis from the retail cd. My character is level 14 melee warrior near the finish of Broken Valley,
Question: my inventory is filled with various level charms. Apparently to use them I must have the "enchant weapon" skill, is that correct? I do not see that skill on my skill tree page. Do I have to have visited a special trainer to get this skill? Do I have to acquire special parchments with the skill? Is this happening later on in the game?
Right now when I click on a piece of armor with open enchant slots, I get the message " you do not meet the requirements for this action." So, what do I have to do to meet the requirements?
These charms are taking up room in my inventory, so I would like to use them or sell them if I cannot use them.
I would like some help on this problem, please. Thanks to all.

See the topic Divinity 2: Developer's Cut and Anthology on Steam. You may be able to upgrade to the latest version.

In Divine Divinity there was an Enchant Weapon skill to use charms, but no skill is required for Divinity 2. You should just have to right click a piece of equipment with an empty charm slot to permanently add a charm.

Enchantments are something different, and can be added and removed (you need an enchantment formula as well as various ingredients, ie minerals and gems). To do so, visit the enchanter in the north west part of Broken Valley, north of the fortune teller.
