**SOLVED**

I'm using the GOG Downloader to download Divinity: Dragon Commander Imperial Edition as I type this post.

I see there are 3 items to download in my library; the Windows Installer, the Universal Update and the DLC: Imperial Edition - Upgrade.

Should I install the game from the installer, then install the update, then install the DLC? This is the approach I'm planning to take, but I wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has done this previously to avoid any issues.

EDIT: I finished the install and everything appears to be working properly. When the Universal Update finished downloading it did not appear to do anything. I started the game, noted the version number, and then closed the game. I then browsed to the game folder and clicked the patch divinity application. This appeared to patch the game and I noticed the version number is now at 1.0.124.0.

This topic is mostly solved, but I am curious as to how updates/patches will come in the future. Will the game auto-update, or do I need continue to check my games library for an updater?

EDIT 2: This topic is now solved. I'm up and running and found my answer to the patch updates in another thread. I am unable to post the link for reference as I'm a new member, but the thread title is "Patch 1.0.64 for Divinity: Dragon Commander is now live."

I'm not sure how to mark this as solved on my own. I would delete this post if I could, but nevertheless if this somehow ends up helping someone else I'm glad I went through the process.
