I have windows 7....and the game wont open for me. How can i fix this problem? Should I reinstall it and try it again? Please help and thank you!

Did you try rebooting? Shutting down all non-essential programs before trying to start the game?

For Divine Divinity or Beyond Divinity, try running the configuration program first, rather than trying to start the game for the first time and having it come up automatically.

Do you get a crash trying to start the game, or does it not load at all?

Have you tried right clicking on the shortcut, or the executable in the install folder, and running it as administrator? How about right clicking, selecting Properties and trying a compatibility mode, disabling desktop composition, etc?

If you installed to the Program Files path, an uninstall and re-install elsewhere may help.
