Anybody know anything about this? Will it be coming to GOG (I assume so)? According to the Kickstarter page, EE will be free to anyone who owns the original (OS) game.

Looks like it's months away, though. My guess is they'll aim for a Christmas release.

I was planning on getting D:OS pretty soon but I might wait until the new version to play it. What do fans of the game/series think?

Yes, about November, and it will be available on GOG.
Yeah, I am waiting to pick this up on the next big sale. EE sounds rad.

I almost backed it, but money problems won the day. Heh.
I'm very stoked for this, can't wait to do some couch co-op!

What about the PC release? Will it happen on 27 October too? Couldn't find anything about it.
This game is on my whishlist since a while... it's time to get it before EE releases! :D
Yeah, it is coming to PC on 27th too. They posted it on twitter recently.

According to the official website, yes, you will. You should get both versions on your library.
Anybody know if the female created characters still wear high heels? That bothered me a little in the original.

The character skeletons were not changed, since that would have required adjustments to all the animations for the female character. If it was an easy fix, it would have been done before the D:OS alpha was released, actually, but it was too late by the time it was brought up internally, so the shoes were made a little more boot-like.

I found it a little distracting in D:OS at first, but it doesn't stand out most of the time. Make a female character a magic user, and the robe will cover the shoes.
got email that I bought something today. It was enchanced edition for free yay!
I'm really looking forward to the release, only a few days left. :-)
