Probably a stupid question, but I couldn't find an answer anywhere.

Does the Invulnerability spell really provide complete resistance to any damage and can a character under the influence of this spell still act and attack normally?

I don't have any characters with points in witchcraft or any scroll for this spell at the moment, so that's why I am asking here. To me it looks as if one can just stack up on such scrolls and romp through any fight unharmed.

Scrolls can be stacked (the spell can only be used once per combat), but they are not common enough to use that technique frequently. It also shouldn't be needed very often.

The character still acts as normal (except they can cast Meteor Shower at their own location, if they want, etc) and is invulnerable.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't planning to use this strategy, the existence of such a spell just somehow feels wrong to me.
