I'm playing this game with two lone wolf characters, on tactician mode. This is my first time playing D: OS, not a second run through. Whew, it's challenging! I'm really enjoying the level of difficulty. Before this I played Wasteland 2 and I was a bit disappointed at how easy it was.
For anyone looking for some difficulty, play this game on tactician with 2 characters. It's great how the opponents use every spell and grenade that you have access to, instead of just a handful of the same attacks over and over.
My characters are a battle mage and wizard. The battle mage is specced with man-at-arms, shield, 1 hand, bodybuilder and willpower. The wizard has all 4 elemental schools and witchcraft. Not having 2 more character for crafting, blacksmithing, etc hurts though - there's hardly any room left for me to get those skills on the 2 characters.
Is anyone else playing the game with a party like this?
