Hey guys,

I got myself a second PS4 controller and wanted to play D:OS EE with my girlfriend via controllers. Now apparently, a new version of the DS4 controller has been released in late 2016, so I've got one "old" and one "new" one. D:OS works just fine with the former but doesn't recognize the new one. Windows (7 ultimate) has no problem recognizing the new DS4 - when both are jacked up to my PC, I can go in controller mode, but only in single player, player two can't join as the game thinks only one controller is hooked up, when trying with only the new one I simply can't go into controller mode, so the game clearly just doesn't "see" the controller. Does anybody have the same problem? Any chance this might be fixed in a future patch? Is there maybe some sort of workaround?

Thanks a lot in advance for any info/help

bastormonger: doesn't recognize the new one.
This has been reported a couple times in OSX, for the new revisions of both the PS4 and Xbox One controllers (there is a workaround for the Xbox One controller, but OSX treats the new revision of the PS4 controller differently, so there isn't an easy way to get it to work). This is the first I've seen it reported for Windows.

Did you check for updated drivers, etc?

You may need to use something like x360ce to get the controller recognized.
Run x360ce_x64.exe from the install folder ('shipping' subfolder), configure the controller (manually, or searching for the "most popular settings for my controller"), in the Game Settings set it to create Xinput files for 64 bit v1.3, and after exiting and starting the game, it should hopefully recognize the new PS4 controller, and prompt to press a button or key before getting to the main menu.
In the options you can switch between using Xbox or Playstation button symbols, if it uses the former with both controllers plugged in.

I'm not sure if (see also [url=http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-ScpToolkit-XInput-Wrapper-aka-ScpServer-Reloaded]here) or Motion in Joy work for PS4 controllers.

Thanks for Your reply. Should anybody else have this problem: x360ce and Scp didn't work for for me, but as I was trying Your suggestions, I stumbled upon DS4Windows, which has been updated in October 2016 specifically to support the new DS4 and it works fine.

Thanks again and best regards
