I'm very excited about this game but before buying it, I wanted to know if there was going to be a production of the physical copy of the game? I'd really love to own it in a box and a manual etc.

As far as I know the physical copy comes with Steam. And there's an additional download or something. Looks like that's what you get nowadays with physical copies.

Maybe Raze_Larian will know more? You can search for him in one of the sticky threads or something.

I have two physical box, from Kisckarter, and localized version (French) and they have dvd but you can consider them fake as both has Steam codes and require download and install through Steam. The only point is once installed you can launch the game without Steam. But if you want install/update it's Steam.

Kickstarter backers with a physical version could elect to delay the shipment of their version until a second production run can be done to include the day one patch (which is the reason Larian went with Steam for the DVD version, so that will remove the requirement for Steam). The retail version is just Steam.
