I heard divinity II had a lot of game ruining bugs, and i was wondering, does the gog version correct all that and make the game playable?
While some people did run into bugs in DKS, it was not particularly buggy, and I can not think of any game ruining bugs.

In any case, the Developer Mode in D2DC should allow you to correct or bypass any bug that you may happen to run into. There is no difference between DKS and D2DC other than the addition of the Developer Mode.
must have been my old computer or something i don't know. it didn't run particularly well when i played the demo, and it looked like crap, but the game ran better this time around. I don't know that i'll buy the game, as fun as it looks, becuase i already own several games that are just like it, and i ahvn't even played those yet. better finish witcher 1 and 2 first eh?
May be better just to jump on this deal while it is available besides Larian has really given great support to their titles in my experience, and additionally they are developing another addition to their line up and its great to support them in that.
The only bug I ever ran into was with some sleeping folks in an early area. When I gave them all the items they needed to wake up, the game semi-froze for like 30 seconds before it started up the cutscene. That only happened to me on one character, though.

It's got fairly long load times, but that's just optimization rather than actual bugs.
i went ahead and bought it from steam becuase the price was better, and i got to tell you the game is worth it!

gog has a better price mind you, but steam was having a sale. money talks.
The game is excellent. I only ever had one bug, and that was fixed by a patch.
I just bought the GoG Package ( noticed it on steam now hehh ) Anyways I happyli paid 15$ since this comany is PC bazed and DD1 was very awesome! so thoose guys deserve it and i hope they continue theyr games!

@Ashout

Steam sells Dragon and Ego Seperatly for 19.99$/€ + Dragon for 9.99$/€ ( on sale)

But GoG gives you DD1 , BD and! DD2 + DD2 Expansion

I finished DKS on Steam a year ago without any problem. I don't remember any bugs at all...
Thank you, Keron320.

Larian has 2 announced Divinity games in development, and another RPG in the early stages of conception which will be announced here if the top milestone is reached in the promotion.

You don't need the original release of D2:ED if you are getting DKS, so with the Steam version on sale, it is a lower price than getting the anthology here (if you already have, or do not want, DD and BD, and don't care about the bonus content).
