Hey! So I was trying to get into modding this wonderful game, but the Divinity Engine keeps crashing on localization languages. A quick search shows that the available download through GOG is not the most up to date version of the program. Is this true/how can I fix this without having to buy this through Steam?

The GOG editor is up to date. There were some files left out of the GOG version that would be useful for creating stand-alone mods, and a download link added to a Larian forum topic, but I don't recall if there was another update after that to include them by default.
