I downloaded Divinity 2, and when I try to install, it gives me the following message:

"The source file is corrupted.

You should run the installer´s integrity check to verify which files need to be re-downloaded"

I did a google search on the subject, and found out that there have been similar problems with other games in the past, and that this apparently can´t be fixed on my end, so I figured I´d let the GOG-employees know.

If it was a problem during the download (likely), it should be fixable by re-downloading the problem file(s) identified by the integrity check. If the problem occurred when the file was uploaded (which it wouldn't be in this case, give the time since the last update) or otherwise is corrupt on the server, then re-downloading wouldn't help.

You may want to try the GOG Downloader if you downloaded the game using the webpage links, or vise versa. If that doesn't help, you'd probably get a faster response if you contact support directly.
How do I even do an integrity check? I have an utterly terrible internet connection so I´d like to try to only redownload the corrupted packet...

I think it is an option when you start the setup exe of a GOG game before the install step.
Hmm, not this one, it appears xD The first thing I see is the "corrupt files" -thing... Well, maybe I´ll just give the whole thing a new download and see if that fixes it.

When you run the setup program, if you click on the Options button, there is a ckeckbox to 'Check files integrity before installation', as well as an option to change the default install location. If you get the error before the main window comes up, then the setup program should probably be the first piece you re-download.

A program like Hash can create checksum values for a file or files, so if someone reading this has downloaded a working copy of the latest installer, they could create some values that you could compare your files against, to identify which ones are corrupt. GOG support may be able to provide checksum vales for the files.
I redownloaded everything and checked it this morning before leaving for work, and nothing was fixed :p I guess I won't be playing divinity then...

Contact GOG support. Either file(s) are corrupt on the server, your ISP cached a corrupt file, or (less likely) your system has hard drive or memory problems causing errors in large downloads.

Actually, I would guess there should be an update soon anyway, to add the Italian localization (unless they add it as a separate patch).

Re download the second file on the list called:
setup_divinity_-_original_sin_2_3.0.141.822_(14964)_(g)-1.bin (4GB) or better yet install it all from galaxy. But if you have downloaded all the other files it might be quicker to download above file and trying again.

Had the same issue
