The pressure plates in Dark Cave are not working for me, so I can't get to Rogan to kill him. Any solutions?

Do none of the pressure plates light up at all? They get reset if you step on them in the wrong order, but a little trial and error should determine the right sequence.

If none of them react (the second closest to the treasure chest is the first in the sequence), try leaving the cave, head to Broken Valley or Sentinel Island, then return to the fjords and try the cave again, to see if getting the game to reload the area will help.

If not, you should be able to get past the forcefield using the Developer Mode cheat window. I'm not sure if lowering the forcefield is required to trigger something else, later in the cave, though.

One plate was working. I did try leaving the cave and coming back. No luck. If you teleport the bandit's location they do not fight.

I have decided to restart the fords.

Thanks

So what happened stepping on the others?

If one of them activated when stepped on, then there are 3 pressure plates remaining... 2 of them would reset the puzzle, while 1 would be activated.
Once you have 2 pressure plates activated, then 1 of the others resets the puzzle, while 1 activates.
When 3 are activated, the remaining one lowers the forcefield.
Well I have some interesting results. I was in the chamber with Ragon and I walked to the barrier and this activated Ragon and his goons. I killed them and I got his ring. Barrier still up. Left and come back through the main door and tried the plates again. Only #2 works. All the other make noise but do anything.
