When my Divine Divinity-installation was nearly complete, I was asked if I wanted to repair or uninstiall Microsoft Visuals C++. I chose to repair it to the 2008-state as that was the only sensible option for me.
Then I tried to test out Baldur's Gate afterwards, but when I exited, all by desktop-icons had been "neatly" thrown together without my knowing - don't know why that is, I had organised them all, but now they are just scattered alongside each other to the left.
Has the installation messed something up on my PC?
UPDATE: This is REALLY strange... every time I organise my games on the desktop in the order I want to play them and then start up and exit a game, the icons return to the top-left side in a big pile :S :S :S
I have windows 10, the game can start, but apparently it can't officially run on 10 according to the GOG-game-page.
